Dr. Shashank Shekhar BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Shashank graduated in 2013 in Orthotics and Prosthetics from All India Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

He has almost 9 years of clinical experience as well as excellent technical skills. He started his professional journey at “Ottobock in Hyderabad, which was well recommended in World market and known for “Prosthetic & orthotic solutions and technical innovations. Right from then, Dr.Shashank was always active and innovative in advancing the integration of technology into custom productions. He also had the great opportunity to work at the Bionic Mumbai centre for 1year. He was involved in lower limb orthotics for children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other rare neurological patient cases.

In 2015, Dr. Shashank worked as Technical Director of the orthotic and Prosthetic department of Hopes Rehab Healthcare, Jaipur. His main focus was clinical consultation, technical support & patient services, as well as to develop innovative custom solutions for children and adults.

In 2020, Dr. Shashank along with his colleague, founded the centre “Aarogya Rehab Centre” at Jaipur and worked as Managing director and clinical specialist.

His clinical expertise includes

• Conservative correction of children and adults with scoliosis and other spine deformities

• Lower limb orthotics for cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other neuro deviations

• Modern and innovative lower limb prosthetics

• Prosthetic rehabilitation program

His special interests are
•Orthotic management for Cerebral Palsy.

• Seating and positioning solutions for complex deformities and deviations

• Upper limb MYO electrical prosthetics

Dr. Shashank always remains updated about the current technology and its applications. He is also certified in all relevant available microprocessor prosthetic technologies.

Dr. Shashank has authored and co-authored publications in peer reviewed journals and is also a regular speaker at meetings all around India. He has conducted several workshops on different subjects in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
